I serve as a Research Fellow with the USDA Northeast Climate Hub and as an Affiliate with the University of Vermont Extension Vegetable and Berry Program. My academic background is in agroecology, with a focus on sustainable management in vegetable production systems, sociology, community food security, and farm-based adaptive practices to climate change. I have expertise in qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research design and analysis, and a background in applied Participatory Action Research (PAR). My experience owning and managing a diversified vegetable farm informs my perspective and research focus. The goal of my work is to support farmers to be more resilient in a changing climate while protecting natural resources.
